Why We Started and What We A

With over 14+ years of experience in the office, I’ve developed a comprehensive skill set for building and growing businesses. My expertise spans Strategy & Operations, Branding, Design, Project Management, Risk Management, Finance, Payroll, Human Resources, Health & Safety, Quality Management, and Pre-qualifications (Totika, NZTA TQS1, TQS2).

In 2023, during the Auckland Floods and Cyclone Gabrielle, I worked with a company that managed reinstatement works for insurers in New Zealand. This experience validated my abilities on a national scale as we managed hundreds of millions of dollars' worth of urgent, complex projects, with a clear mission: to get families displaced by the floods back into their Homes by Xmas. The challenge was both rewarding and demanding, but it also revealed a critical issue: a small group of companies consistently captures the lion’s share of the market, leaving the rest behind.

So, what’s the difference? Professionalism.

A strong, professional brand is the clearest indicator that business owners take their company seriously. This realisation led me to establish P. J. King Art in 2024.
